Hazen at Home with Jenny Bohannon

Who are you turning to for recipes to this spring?

Honestly, my sister is my greatest inspiration when it comes to being in the kitchen. She has a true gift, whereas I tend to be somewhat helpless unless I have a recipe to adhere to, lol. Anyway, I ask her for recipes almost weekly and believe her go-tos are @thepioneerwoman and @smittenkitchen.

Where are you shopping (online or in person) this spring?

For the Home: Always antique stores, estates sales, and my local Craigslist, which I swear by.
To Wear: @anthropologie and @jcrew are my go-tos for solid, Jackie Kennedy-inspired, East Coast fashion.
Who / What is your favorite or new go-to spring dress by and who/where is it from?
I am currently obsessed with the entire @hunterbellnyc dress collection.
Who is inspiring you these days?
• Movies from Hollywood’s “Golden Age,” for the glamour of their set designs, costumes, etc.... These will always and forever be my greatest source of inspo as a grandmillenial tastemaker. There is something about the glamour of that era I have always found intriguing; a glamour which even two World Wars couldn’t shake, in which there was a sense of morality, goodness, duty, and patriotism underlying every facet of society. It is these underlying values and spirit I hope we’ve managed to re-capture here at Tallwood, and these values and spirit that are the underpinning of any truly glamorous society.
• Tastemakers of the past such as Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy.
• Modern-day tastemakers such as Kate Middleton @kensingtonroyal, Alice Naylor-Leland @mrsalice, Brooke Giannetti @velvetandlinen, Mark Sikes @markdsikes,, and tooooo many others to name. Also always especially inspired by English and European pages on IG!!!
