Hill Country Elegance
What provided the most inspiration for your wedding?
We loved the idea of a warm, welcoming ceremony with our closest family and friends in the Texas Hill Country where we grew up. We were married at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Paige’s church since childhood. We chose the Omni Barton Creek for the reception as they had the perfect indoor/outdoor Pavilion, and it is just minutes from where Paige (the bride) grew up.
What aspect of wedding planning was most exciting to you?
As physicians trying to plan a wedding in a pandemic, I guess we would have to say the rollout of the vaccine! Our original wedding date was set for 9/5/2020, but we made the decision to postpone due to COVID. We were so grateful that the majority of our guests were able to get vaccinated so that we could all celebrate together in March. It was challenging trying to plan for a lot of unknowns, but it really put things into perspective and made us so grateful for health and closeness!
What made you decide on Hazen for your big day?
Taylor has the best style and the most creative vision! We were so excited to be able to wear her beautiful, timeless pieces at the rehearsal dinner and on the day of the wedding.
